It costs only $10 to sit in the grandstand. nyra.com. FIGMENT June 8–9, art takes over Governors Island. FIGMENT is an annual celebration that has become the unofficial kickoff to summer for those who appreciate unconventional and participatory art with an element of play. Thousands converge on Governors Island for interactive sculpture, installations and a kitchen sink–style free-for-all.
