Saturday: Bronx Winterfest 11a.m.–3 p.m. This event is to kick-off the winter season through Sports, Fitness, and Outdoor Adventure. This event is free for children and families of all ages. Activities will include Sports Clinics, Fitness Demonstrations, Winter Activities and Games and Live Entertainment. Ice Festival at Belvedere Castle 12–3p.m. Sip on hot chocolate while watching Okamoto Studio carve Belvedere Castle and its surrounding landscape from ice. Take tours with the Urban Park Rangers and learn how ice shaped the Park’s geologic features. Kids can try their artistic skills with a play-dough sculpting arts & craft. centralparknyc.org
SUNDAY: DANCE: 90s dance party. Come hear some of the best 90s hip hop, R & B, pop, house, grunge, and alternative hits 12 am. Union Hall, Park Slope, Brooklyn
MUSIC: Burlesque Party. The swinging 70s meets burlesque in this themed production with local throwbacks, Wasabassco Burlesque. 8 pm. Bell House, Gowanus, Brooklyn

Progressive International Motorcycle Show January 18–20 The world’s largest motorcycle show series returns to the Javits Center in January, giving you an all-access pass to the world of motorcycling with hundreds of the latest street bikes, dirt bikes, cruisers, scooters and ATVs, plus vintage bikes and impressive customs. Guests will love the variety of vintage bikes, the display of road-worthy styles at the Ducati fashion show, the Strider Adventure Zone kids’ play area featuring non-motorized bikes, The Marketplace for accessories and gadgets.

Monday: BAM hosts a full MLK-Day of festivities, beginning at 10:30am with keynote speaker Harry Belafonte, a personal friend of Martin Luther King, who will pay tribute to Dr. King’s legacy, along with musical performers The Brooklyn Interdenominational Choir and Kindred The Family Soul.
