BC Health Awareness Club event, titled, Knowing when it’s Abnormal. Global Medical Brigades Information Session.

The BC Health Awareness Club is upcoming event, titled, Knowing when it’s Abnormal. This event will consist of several speakers, videos, a skit, q&a, and lunch. The event will take place in the Student Center, International Lounge, on the 5th floor. Knowing when it’s abnormal was inspired by Mental Illness Awareness week beginning October 7, 2012. We are hoping to get students more generally aware of mental illnesses that exist within our society. Mental health has a huge impact on every aspect of your life. Global Medical Brigades will be holding its second Information Session. Thursday, October 11 from 12:30-2pm in Club Room (Basement of SUBO). Learn about our June 2013 medical mission to Nicaragua, and all the fundraising/recruitment that will go into this project to make sure it’s a success. Even if you made it to the first meeting, attendance is still mandatory.
