Saturday: Hudson River Park’s Blues BBQ: Pier 84, 44th Street and West Street, Manhattan 2-9pm. This feast for your senses brings you the sights, sounds, smells and tastes of a true southern BBQ experience. Artists and set times are as follows (set times are subject to change). Afro-Punk Festival Saturday and Sunday at Commodore Barry Park and hear the likes of Erykah Badu, Gym Class Heroes, Spank Rock, Reggie Watts, Janelle Monae and Das Racist. Sunday: Learn to Fly Day 10 a.m.–2: p.m. The Staten Island RC Modelers invite you to our Flying Field to experience the joy and excitement of flying model airplanes! Our “Field of Dreams” flying field is located off Forest Hill Road opposite COSTCO. Instructors will show you how to work the controls and help you fly one of our Trainer Planes. Registration is open from 10am till 11:30am. Instruction is open to everyone 12yrs or older.
