InterVarsity Christian Fellowship Successful Event Posted on February 14, 2009 by Corine Vialva

The InterVarsity Christian Fellowship (IVCF) held their first large group event on campus 10/9/08 in the basement of the Student Center.  It was a pizza and games evening where students from many different clubs joined the meeting to enjoy the food and games.

It was a crowded house , having as many as  50 students.  The highlight of the evening took place when almost half of the students were involved in an exciting games of Guesstures.  The other students were interacting and playing games like Checkers, Life, Connect Four, Sorry, Toss Across and Monopoly.

The feedback from the students was all positive comments.  Joshua, A prospect student for the spring 2009 semester, heard about the event from a friend and enjoyed the fun environment, meeeting new people and hearing about G-d.  A new transfer student, Ann-Marsha said that she believed that IVCF  is a vital instrument for Christians; it is needed for growth in Christian life.

All in all, it was an event that was well attended and enjoyed.  IVCF is an important group for believers and follers of us.  The group also welcomes those curious about the faith and its beliefs. All are welcome to attend.  For more information about IVCF, feel free to visit,  Room 0439 N or e-mail at In full disclosure I am a member of the club.
